The Tree Is Up: Main Street USA Sparkles at Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom’s giant Town Square Christmas tree has arrived, wrapped in popcorn garland, red bows, and a golden star, turning the entrance to Main Street USA into a picture-perfect holiday welcome.

Step off the ferry or monorail this November and the first thing you see is the tree. It stands nearly as tall as the Main Street train station itself, rising on a giant gift-box base right in the middle of Town Square. It's like Main Street USA stepped out of the pages of a fairy tale Christmas storybook.

This year’s decorations lean classic and oversized in the best way. Giant popcorn garland winds through the branches alongside bright red bows, gleaming bells, candle ornaments, gingerbread cookies, rocking horses, and shiny baubles in every color. A dimensional golden star crowns the top, catching the light whether the sky is soft and gray or brilliantly blue.

All around Town Square and down Main Street, the rest of the holiday overlay is falling into place. Wreaths with red velvet bows and glowing center candles hang from the white decorative arms overhead. Garlands and bows dress the facades of the Magic Kingdom train station, City Hall, the Emporium, Casey’s Corner, and the other turn-of-the-century buildings. Even the lamp-post wreaths carry fruit, poinsettias, and ribbons, turning every step toward Cinderella Castle into a stroll through Christmas.

Guests who arrived on November 3 walked under the freshly hung wreaths and straight into the tree’s shadow. The official Holidays at Walt Disney World season begins November 13, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights start even earlier on the 8th, but the visual magic is already here.
While the tree greets everyone at the entrance, Adventureland is already in full holiday mode with the return of the Jingle Cruise.
The decorations are only the beginning. Disney Eats has already released the daytime Holiday Food Guide with new treats across the parks — perfect for anyone wandering Main Street this month.
The tree is the signal.
The season has arrived.
