The Full House favorite steps in with his new band for two nights at America Gardens Theatre while Mike Love focuses on his health. The Food & Wine Festival still gets its California glow.

The America Gardens Theatre at EPCOT is about to feel a little more like a sunny California evening. Disney has updated the Eat to the Beat Concert Series lineup for the 2026 International Food & Wine Festival, swapping The Beach Boys for John Stamos and the California Sound on November 11 and 12.

Stamos has played with The Beach Boys on and off for more than four decades. He has been the honorary drummer, the friend on stage, and, as he has put it, the one who was given a place not just in the band but in Mike Love’s life. When Love’s health challenges became public earlier this month, Stamos shared a heartfelt note calling Love his beloved friend, father figure, musical hero, and mentor. The Beach Boys’ dates at EPCOT were quietly replaced on Disney’s official schedule with “John Stamos and the California Sound.”

Showtimes stay the same: three performances each evening at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion. Admission is included with your regular EPCOT park ticket. Seating is first-come, first-served, though Concert Series Dining Packages at participating restaurants still offer reserved seats. Lines for popular acts can form about an hour ahead, so arrive early if you want a good view of the stage and the lagoon beyond.

For longtime Disney fans, this feels like a natural fit. Stamos has always worn his love for the parks on his sleeve. He has walked Main Street, filmed at Magic Kingdom, joined Muppet celebrations, and even brought Full House castmates along for park days. Now he gets to bring the California sound — surf-tinged harmonies, classic Beach Boys spirit, and his own unmistakable energy — right to the World Showcase for two nights.

Neither Disney nor the Beach Boys has issued a lengthy public explanation, but the timing lines up with Stamos’ earlier Instagram tribute and reports of Love’s ongoing health concerns. Love, now 85 and the last continuously active original member, has continued to perform when he can. Stamos has made clear the priority is Love’s well-being while still delivering the music people came to hear.

If you already had the Beach Boys dates circled, you still get the same two nights of live music at the Food & Wine Festival. You just get Uncle Jesse (and a whole lot of California sunshine) leading the way.
