Holiday Ever After, Quilted. Vera Bradley has a way of turning a souvenir into something you actually pack. The new Holiday Ever After line, tied to Hallmark’s Disney World Christmas movie Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, does exactly that.

It launched this weekend, officially going on sale October 1, and it looks like a park Christmas card you can zip shut. We have video of the launch on our Four Theme Parks™ Magazine Instagram feed here.

There are two prints. Holiday Ever After Floral is the story print: a pink-and-green toile on white, packed with Cinderella Castle, the carousel, Jungle Cruise and Mad Tea Party moments, Mickey and Minnie in holiday scenes, fireworks, wreaths, holly, and little Christmas trees filling the gaps.

Holiday Ever After Candy is the simpler one — mint green, covered in peppermint-swirl Mickey heads with dark green ears. On the bigger bags, floral is usually the outside and candy is the lining. That little surprise when you open it is the whole point.

Six pieces, $25 to $165.

The Zip Earbud Bag Charm, Candy pattern, is $25 and Mickey-ear shaped, about three inches, with a hinge ring. The Zip ID Case is also $25, Candy print, with a clear window so a park ticket or a driver’s license can ride along. These are the impulse pieces. They photograph like candy and they cost like a snack.

The Bancroft Backpack pictured below tops the line at $165. Floral outside, candy lining, a padded sleeve for a laptop up to 15 inches, a trolley sleeve so it rides on a roller bag, front and main zip compartments, bottle pockets, a key ring. It is the practical one, which is a funny thing to say about a quilted castle print, and also the reason it will sell.

The Lorman Sling Backpack, Floral, is $85. Three liters, a 44-inch adjustable strap. That is a rope-drop bag: phone, wallet, lip balm, a pin lanyard if you are that person, and nothing you will regret leaving in the room.

The Small Original Vera Tote is $145. It measures about 11.5 by 11.25 by 4.5 inches, with a 12-inch handle drop, one slip pocket and one zip pocket outside, six slip pockets inside, and a zip close. It is the shopping-bag version of the collection — Disney Springs, a World Showcase loop, a holiday party.

The Large Original Duffel pictured below is also $145, and it is the one that earns the price. About 22 by 11.5 by 11.5 inches, 58 liters, side and front slip pockets, a 12-inch strap drop. That is a weekend bag dressed as a Christmas toile. If you are flying in for the holidays, this is the piece that makes the overhead bin look intentional.

Buying the whole set runs $590 before tax. Most of us will not. The charm and the ID case are the easy yes. The duffel and the backpack are the “I am actually going” yes.

The bags are online at Vera Bradley and listed through Hallmark. The wider Holiday Ever After collection — ornaments, apparel, Loungefly, drinkware — is rolling into Hallmark Gold Crown stores and select Kohl’s and Walmart doors, with Disney retail expected to carry pieces of the story. Check the tag where you stand. October drops move.

It is not subtle. It is not trying to be. Quilted cotton, a castle in the pattern, peppermint Mickey on the inside. For a movie filmed at Walt Disney World, that is the right souvenir: something you can carry out of the park and still recognize it instantly.

This gorgeous collection is Four Theme Parks magazine girl approved!
